The flagship restaurant of Uvita is a popular dining location for visitors and residents of the Costa Ballena. In 2018, the restaurant was created and fully renovated with custom detailing, creating a new high end dining experience for the Uvita area, with impeccable service and unmatched ambience. It has built an established return clientele and has become a hot spot where the community also enjoys summer pool parties, weekly live music events and fundraisers. Through meticulous detailing, the facility maintains an intimate ambience, yet can accommodate up to 200 clients for meals. Well known for also hosting large gatherings, the Restaurant has successfully accommodated a number of events, including several with over 700 attendees.
Located along the Costanera highway in the expanding town of Uvita, this is a prime location and literally the first restaurant one sees when entering the town from the north. The main restaurant is comprised of a breezy open-air dining section and two beautiful Guanacaste wooden bars with seating and imported chandelier lighting and decor. The full-service bar holds all the equipment necessary for top notch service and efficient bartending, as well as televisions for sports fans to catch their favorite team playing. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with prep station, three deep freezers, chef grade refrigerator as well as three other refrigerators, pizza oven, chef stove, oven and grill, deep fryers, a commercial grade dishwasher and a washer and dryer. The main building also features a small air conditioned commercial space, which currently holds a clothing boutique, but could be easily converted to a wine cellar or tap room. There are three main bathrooms for clientele with disability access near the front of the restaurant and an employee bathroom next to the commercial space. There is also a separate building which holds a central office space and a small apartment with bathroom located near the entrance to the property. There is ample parking, with shaded and meticulously landscaped trees and flowers.
Leading out to the pool area, there are two newly built covered areas with additional seating for patrons, as well as an additional bathroom. This allows clients to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and pool area while they dine. The covered stage area offers the perfect space for hosting live music events or special occasions like weddings and birthdays poolside, creating an amazing entertainment experience! There are also three greenhouses on the property, where produce for the restaurant is cultivated and harvested every week.
The terrain of 1.25 acres of land allows for the ready addition of villas or condos at the back of the property as it exists now. The current structure could also be converted into a boutique hotel, the building of a commercial plaza in the front and/or the conversion of the restaurant into a night club.
